Fancast: dish 'n dat

It's cold and rainy in California, and probably also where you are at right now. Very fitting weather for a very sad week in the entertainment industry. We kind of don't feel like being very funny in this week's Friday Rundown.

By far the bummiest news of the week was Heath Ledger's tragic passing. Throughout the week we received additional information. A private funeral service took place today, to lay him to rest.

Who is writing the soaps during the strikes? Maybe the actors? Which would explain the creepy one-eyed pirate dad on Days of our Lives.

Francis was back to tell us all about Terminator, which is his total substitute since the Gossip Girl finales.

Ringo Starr walked off the Regis set.

Jennifer Love gave the fellas the rundown about the ladies. Commenters responded. In droves! Some like Jennifer Love, some don't.

And finally, Cashmere Mafia kind of grew on me. But I'm still left kind of bummed out about this sort of crummy week. Let's hope next week is better. Stay safe everyone.
