At least that's how Nina Garcia would have it if she could. After both ladies showed off their amazing senses of style at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, Nina Garcia seemed to get it in her head that the potential first ladies should be guest judges on Project Runway, saying that it “would be amazing...We did the Olympics, why not the election?”
What does she think of their styles? “[McCain] is Oscar de la Renta. [She's] all about bold colors and she’s all about diamonds and pearls and blondeness. [Obama] is Miss Jackie O. — ’50s, early ’60s,” she said. Garcia also had some fashion advice for Sarah Palin. "First, we have to lose the glasses — Lasik or contacts,” said the fashionista. “But she’s attractive. She seems to be feminine; I saw the high heels and little beaded skirt. She kind of broke up the suit which is a major move for a politician — and she’s curvaceous.”
