While out promoting her new Hallmark Channel film, Ladies of the House, at this week's Television Critic's Association Tour, Florence Henderson enlightened the audience of reporters with her thoughts about Brady Bunch children invading reality TV. She had a particularly strong opinion about Christopher Knight, who jumped into Celebrity Circus and Celebrity Family Feud right after The Surreal Life and My Fair Brady, where he met his current wife, Adrianne Curry. "When Christopher Knight was doing The Surreal Life, he was very much involved with this person he had met on the set so I think they were pressuring him to get married," she said. "He asked me if I could come in and council them while they were dating and I did, but they didn’t listen to me at all. They then asked if I could come in and council for the marriage but I said no. I said, maybe I can come council for the divorce?" The statement was followed by a joking laugh.

She reminded the crowd that he has been like her own son since his mother passed away, and added, "I think [reality show TV] is a double edged sword. Actors wanna work. I think one of you mentioned when you’ve done roles that are so popular, it's difficult to move on, but I understand why they do it," she said.
