Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz Are Taking Over For Roger Ebert

022508-lyons2.jpg

The two Bens, Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz, are replacing Roger Ebert and his co-host Richard Roeper on the ABC show, At The Movies. These two guys are young (Lyons is 26, Mankiewicz is in his 30's), hip (Lyons hosts The Daily 10 at E! and was a host on MTV) and come from movie industry royalty--Lyon's dad is movie critic mogul, Jeffrey Lyons from Reel Talk, and he's the grandson of NYC gossip guru Leonard Lyons, while Mankiewicz daddy is Citizen Kane creator, Herman Mankewicz. Will it be difficult to fill Ebert's or their father's footsteps? Only time will tell, but we predict the show will now be interesting to a whole new generation of TV watchers.

While we're not sure what Ben's favorite films are, we do know what he's watching on TV, after having chatted with him at this year's E! Oscar afterparty, where he told us he was best buds with Ian Ziering, liked his dad's show and was addicted to Snoop Dogg's Father Hood.
