Breaking Bad, the little brother to TV sensation Mad Men that was picked up for a new season by AMC, will begin production next month, reports Variety. The show is based in the dubious world of crystal meth and stars the unlikely Bryan Cranston, whom you might remember as the dad in Malcolm in the Middle.
The show's producer completely understands the scary nature of the series. He told Variety, "If I'd thought about how tricky the tone could be, I probably would have spooked myself and given up earlier. It's a show about a guy dying of cancer and cooking crystal meth (to provide for his family). It could have been dark as night, so you have to leaven a story like that with humor, but if you salt in too much humor, suddenly we're doing for crystal meth what 'Hogan's Heroes' did for concentration camps."
Let a clip of the show give you the implications of a car explosion.
