Miley Cyrus says she's embarrassed over her Vanity Fair pictorial, Disney says she was exploited, Annie Leibovitz proclaimed rather backhandedly that she is upset at the reaction that her photos received, whereas Vanity Fair is on the offensive, stating that Miley's parents were on the set the entire time and did not object. Regardless, the Americans public is, as always, outraged. But is the photo in question really as obscene as many suggest?
You decide: does this look like an innocent photo shoot or is there something more sinister at play?

Although I am viewing these pictures with the eyes of a parent of a 14 year old teenage girl, I truly do not see any difference between these pictures and the countless other pictures one can find on other so call teen magazines. I told my daughter years ago and still telling her that the people who are in the entertainment business live a different life where, due to money/bad parents/bad advice, morality is only the next paycheck. I just told her today that in the entertainment one morals must be put aside in order to stay in the business, it is sort of like selling your body and soul for money, just like a prostitude!

Ok i may be young but really She knows Vanity Fari is not dirrected at the fan baises and she did it anyways like think are people going to be expecting this form a Disney Pop princes no they are oging to be expecting pink and songs with no meaning and a stupid tv show. and the parents should have objected when they saw what they where making her do like really. ok that may be ok if you are Paris hilton or Lindsay Lohan and over 20 but when you are 15 really?

I don't see why so many people are making such a big deal about the photoshoot. She is as topless as a twelve-year old in a tube-top. She's even more covered up than several preteens in their strapless summer dresses.
This is a tasteful and artistic photoshoot. There is no nudity involved, and the public should not react so strongly to this young woman's photographs. The art world consists of more obscene "tasteful" photographs anyway.
