Tonight's episode of Law & Order will feature a very scary Robin Williams as a crazy killer. How did the TV show snag the Oscar-caliber actor? Executive Producer Neal Baer explains:
Richard Belzer [Detective Munch] is friends with Robin, and said he might want to do the show. We came up with a story that we hoped would entice him. It's kind of based on the Milgram experiments. He plays an audio engineer, who has profound problems with authority, and who gets people to do very naughty, nasty things. It's a story about what makes people do things if they think that they won't be responsible.
