Joaquin Phoenix was presented with an award for favorite leading man at this year's Critic's Choice Awards, but didn't do the usual "I want to thank my mom, the producers, the lord and savior jesus christ" bit. In a refreshing and crush-inspiring moment, he used cue cards to show his solidarity for the writers. "I'm speechless without the writers," his cards read. "Seriously. But in my own quiet way, I want to thank the millions of fans that voted for me for favorite leading man." He then mouthed "Thank you" into the cameras. If that's not the cutest thing you've ever heard I don't know what is. [People].
