Janice Dickinson’s foot should be firmly implanted in her mouth by now, after her latest “accidental” tirade against Tyra Banks on The Today Show. She spoke in support of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s thighs, saying she was “healthy”, but then uttered the sentence heard round the blogs:
You want to see someone who's fat, I'm sorry, Tyra, Tyra Banks is fat
Hmmm, is this like the pot calling the kettle fat? Or like the old pot calling the younger kettle fat. Or maybe more like the pot doing what she does best—talking smack about someone and thus guaranteeing that she will be talked about in the tabloids and the blogs. In either case, she succeeded, as evidenced by People magazine dubbing the fiasco “fat gate”. Ladies, when will we realize that the more we diss each other's bodies, subtly or unsubtly, the more we set womankind back? It's Christmastime, be kind.
