Celebrating the New Year, 1970's Style

Wondering how previous generations celebrated New Years? Yes, there was life on earth before you were born. Following in the tradition of the Franklin Avenue blog, check out what may have been on your TV during the New Year in 1976, with Ben Grauer (who passed away a few months later) and Guy Lombardo. This was before the internets! Everybody wore suits! They had cheesy tv effects of stars and fireworks! My mom was like 15! Kind of cute and melancholic.
