Stars of all wattage – Tom Hanks to Three's Company's Joyce DeWitt to Sting – were brushed back Sunday, when a 2,400-acre fire burned through Malibu. The celeb-packed locale avoided wildfires in recent years. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Malibu’s beachside LG House, which hosted parties this summer for NBC and The Hills’ season 3 premiere, was set ablaze, but Pepperdine U., where John Cusack brunches, was spared.
Bill Maher’s Emmy-nommed HBO show Real Time was YouTube’d like crazy this weekend, as hecklers disrupted the show – and had to be forcibly removed. With Maher’s panel that included columnist Joel Stein, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, and Rep. Sheila Jackson (D-TX), an audience member yelled indistinguishable words and wouldn’t stop talking. “Audience comes from the Latin – to listen,” Maher joked, before calling security to oust the man. How embarrassing: Kid Rock was arrested early Sunday at a Waffle House outside Atlanta after a late-night fight. Police were summoned, a window was broken, and Rock was unhurt. He is on tour supporting his latest album, Rock & Roll Jesus – and is seen smiling in his mug shot. Rock has had a busy two months, brawling with Tommy Lee at the MTV VMA’s, bashing ex-wife Pamela Anderson, and having a #1 record.

Notorious party animal/Alone in the Dark star Tara Reid was treated in early October for elevated liver enzymes at a L.A.-area hospital, The National Enquirer reports. The sickness is frequently linked to alcohol abuse. Reid appeared at an Oct. 18 premiere in L.A. and looked healthy.
